Leagues
Tega Cay hosts USTA junior and adult leagues as well as a Division 2 Interclub team (Charlotte area league). Next opportunity for league play is 2011 USTA spring leagues. Teams form early. New! Challenge Court
The Challenge Courts will take the place of the Quads during the winter since the weather is iffy. This will eliminate the need for finding subs and rescheduling play dates. Each day will have one court for singles and one for doubs. We will have an email RSVP system to try to make sure we have enough people showing up to play each time. We will also have an outdoor signup board at the tennis clubhouse.
How it works - Players show up to play at the specified time. The first four for doubles and the first two for singles take the court and play a short set, first to 4, no ad. Winner stays on court. If someone is waiting to challenge the winner, they take the non-winner's place and challenge the winner. Winner stays on court maximum of two consecutive short sets but may come back on as a challenger. If no players are waiting, players on court may continue play.

Weekend Warriors is for both men and women players so ladies come on out if this time works better for you. The first eight players at the courts will play doubles. Additional players will play a Challenge Court format on the third court.

QuickStart ages 5-7
Monday 3:45-4:30
Classes are designed to spark an interest in tennis at an early age. We will focus on developing hand, eye and foot coordination, and learning the proper skills to begin playing the game. Equipment will be age-appropriate. Maximum 4 players per class. Additional classes formed by request.

Our specially developed guide to learning and understanding the game of tennis. Sets the student on a course toward moving to an intermediate level and playing on their own. Focus is on stroke production and control.

Student must have at least one year of experience. Students in this class are ready to learn rules, how to rally, and play matches. Tennis pro's approval needed to enter this class.
Private Lessons
$45 per hour members, $50 per hour non-members
Semi-Private Lessons
2 people - $25 each per hour
3 people - $20 each per hour
4 people - $15 each per hour
Team Practices
High school, USTA and other season-long league team practices quoted on request.
Cancellation Policy
24 hour notice is needed to register for adult clinics, otherwise the walk-in fee applies. Class times will be shortened if class does not meet minimum participation requirements. Tega Cay Tennis reserves the right to cancel a session if enough registrants have not signed up within 24 hours of session start time.
50% charge for same day private lesson cancellations.
Makeup Policy
Makeups are allowed during the current session. You must come to another day that your class is offered to make up your class. We ask that you call at least one day ahead of time to make up your class.
Refund Policy
No cash refunds will be given. Refunds will be given in the form of gift certificates for future class participation or pro shop items.
